now how did that help?!? changing the letters around and then adding a letter violates all the rules of saintly behavior 🙂
So, I’m going back up to the other word and try something there to see if we can get unstuck.
How about dirt = girt
(cain’t come back with “grit” either.) [i know you were thinkin bout it]

on your first one you changed “bark” to “dark.” That is changing only one letter. Had you changed “bark” to “barks” that would have been adding a letter.
Now, change one letter in the word “girt” to make a new word.

I think he means one letter change, but same order of the other letters. For instance he went from ‘dirt’ to ‘girt’ because that kept the letter order with one changed letter. If he had gone from ‘dirt’ to ‘grit’ that would have changed one letter and reversed the order of the ‘ir.’
that being said, I’m not sure how to proceed.

Busy and sick at the same time is not a good combination; but it is all coming together again in a good way.
Hope to get around to visiting the blogosphere soon.
