2 Corinthians 1:21-22 But it is God who establishes us together with you in Christ and who anointed us,
It is God….
Let us never get away from that fact of our existence, our life, our daily activities…whatever: It Is GOD.
Apart from Him we can do nothing.
In Him, I can do all things.
It is not of our strength, intelligence, looks, gender, status, wealth, health, or any other thing that we get anything accomplished.
It is all of God.
I am established by God.
I am anointed by God.
I am joined with you by God.
You are established by God.
You are anointed by God.
You are joined with me by God.
Excellent thing to remember as we make our plans for 2009. All must be submitted to Him who is over all!

Is it not obvious to you?
Read again your own article. Then compare it to that verse in the bible.
What do you see ?
See the BIG difference ?
That is what I meant.

Sorry. I fail to see what you are driving at. I do not see where I added to the Word. Everything I said is contained within that verse as far as I can see.

i don’t see it either…

For the sake of Darla, I will tell you.
When you added ” I” (pertaining to you)and “YOU”(pertaining to your reader), is tantamount to corrupting the word of God.(2Cor. 2:17) and tend to deceive your readers.
Example:
in your article you wrote:
1. I am established by God. 2. I am anointed by God 3. I am joined with you by God.
Question : Had you seen or heard God? That you will say those things ? Do you already considered yourself as a Christian ?
Just because you accidentally happened to browse at that verse, will that make you as one of them? Paul and I can positively says , WE DON’T THINK SO.
Your article is the proof that you are not established , nor anointed, nor joined to your reader. Cause you do not understand what you are reading.
FYI : In that verses, Paul was speaking at ALREADY Christians in Corinth. He was NOT speaking to those people ( like you) , who are not yet Christian, and who are still outside of the CHURCH OF GOD .
Now to be able to be INSIDE the CHURCH, you’ll have to be called by God (The Father of Jesus Christ).
Understand the verses:
1) The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, TO SEE, if there were any that did understand, and SEEK God.(Psalms 14:2)
2) And you SHALL SEEK ME , and FIND ME, when you shall search for me WITH ALL your heart. (Jeremiah 29:13)
3. For every one that ask receiveth; and he THAT SEEKETH FINDETH; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.(Matthew 7:8)
4. SEEK ye first the Kingdom of God, and HIS righteousness;(Matthew 6:33)
5. I have not spoken in secret, in the dark place of the earth: I have not said unto the seed of Jacob, SEEK YE ME IN VAIN: I the Lord speak righteousness, I declare things that are right. (Isaiah 45:19)
Now, after you have done these things, and God has seen it, then HE will…
Understand these verses :
1) And I will cause him to DRAW NEAR, and he shall approach unto me.(Jeremiah 30:21)
2) Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and cause to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts.(Psalms 65:4)
Where is HIS courts?
Answer: Unto the Church of God (1 Cor. 1:2)
3) a. And He said , therefore said I unto you, that NO MAN can come unto me, except it were given unto Him of my Father. (John 6:65)
b. No man can come unto me, except the Father which hath sent me DRAW him: and I will raise him up at the last day. (John 6:44)
So, GOD THE FATHER has this advice :
Thus saith the Lord, STAND ye in the ways, and SEE, and ASK for the old paths, where is the GOOD WAY, and WALK THEREIN, and you shall FIND R E S T for your souls.((Jeremiah 6:16)
If you or Daria are interested, I will point to you the way. THE OLD PATH.
Remember :
If any man will do HIS WILL, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.
And NO UNRIGHTEOUSNESS IS IN HIM. (John 7:17-18)
And I pray that God the Father will open your hearts. And will come to understand HIS WORD.

I am glad that “for the sake of Darla” you answered my question. I guess I am indeed having trouble in hearing from the Lord, because He has yet to tell me that you are the sole repository of truth.
Now that you have what you seek–persecution for the sake of righteousness–go and learn what this means: “I desire mercy and not sacrifice.” (Matt. 9:13; 12:7)

I did not say that I am the SOLE repository of knowledge. It just so happen that I am guided by the Holy Spirit, for I could not tell you those verses without the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Now pertaining to what you said that “I seek persecution for the sake of righteousness”. That statement prove how ignorant you are about what are written in the bible. And you have no business whatsoever preaching, nor sharing the Gospel to others. What I am doing is not persecution, I am just trying to correct your stupid insight pertaining to salvation. You DESIRED to be teacher of the Law, when in fact you don’t understand what you are saying, nor whereof you affirm.
Like this one, ” I desire mercy, and not sacrifice”. Just because you read this verse, you will now apply it to yourself. And you focus your whole attention to this verse , as if it is the only way to heaven, and disregarding the other verses. You believed that, all you have to do is to give mercy to everyone, and you will go to heaven. This is a belief of a very LAZY PERSON and ignorant at that.
I will give you an example of a law; the law of Christ:
“NOT FORSAKING the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
For IF we sin WILFULLY after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth NO MORE sacrifice for sins.”(Hebrews 10:25-26)
Here is a Law of Christ given to Paul, the assembling of the saints, Now , if what you will only do is to give mercy, and do not obey this law, what will be your outcome?
Here is another law; The Law of the Holy Spirit.
Abstain from a) the pollution of IDOLS;b) FORNICATION ; c) what is STRANGLED; d) BLOOD (Acts 15:20)
The same , if you will not follow these laws, you will not be forgiven in this world, nor in the world to come.
Understand this verse carefully :
For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, HE IS GUILTY OF ALL.(James 2:10)
So, my advice to you is :
Leave the preaching to those who are SENT BY GOD.

FOLLOW UP:
I’m just a little bit confused of what you are trying to point out, when you gave me that verse. To understand it. You see, you are lazy in giving me the whole verse.
This is the whole verse; so that your reader will fully understand it.
1) But when Jesus heard that, He said unto them, They that be whole need not physician, but they that are sick. But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I WILL HAVE MERCY AND NOT SACRIFICE : for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.(Matthew 9:12-13)
2) But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple. But if ye had known what this meaneth, I WILL HAVE MERCY, AND NOT SACRIFICE, ye would not condemn the guiltless.(Matthew 12:6-7)
In these two instances that you gave, what do you want to know from these verses ? I will have mercy, and not sacrifice?
But did HE not sacrifice himself ? What good then is that mercy? No one was able to understand the story that HE gave, at that time(just like you ,up to now), so, HE did not gave mercy. Those verses are conditional. Jesus Christ was trying to gave those people a chance to be given mercy without sacrificing himself to the cross, but they fail. So salvation now rely in man’s ability to obey Christ Jesus and to obey ALL HIS LAWS.
As it is written:
This is my beloved Son of whom I am well pleased. HEAR YE HIM.
So, if you will not obey Jesus Christ, you will not be saved. And one of the commandments is TO CLEAVE to what is good. And the Church of God is good, cause it is the body of Christ. And this will be save by Christ.
As it is written :
For the time is come that judgment MUST BEGIN at the House of God; and if it first begin at us, what shall be the end be of them that OBEY NOT the gospel of God?
And IF the righteous SCARCELY BE SAVED, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear ? (1 Peter 4:17-18)
I pray that, that you will come to understand the word of God. Do not harden your heart.
