About Us:

Dale Hill

Dale Hill began teaching from the Bible and ministering to God's people almost 40 years ago. From the beginning his focus was on Peter's question, "How should we then live?" (2 Peter 3:11) Now, the richness of a life devoted to serving God and His people is being made available in print form so that many more believers will be able to benefit from Dale's ministry.

History:

Dale founded the One Way House in Pensacola, Florida and Freedom Chapel in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He traveled with his family teaching the Word wherever he found an opportunity for more than four years in the early `80s.

After moving his family to Jonesboro, Arkansas, Dale was set aside from the ministry as he quietly waited for more than 20 years for the Lord to reveal Himself in a new way in Dale's life. During that time the word of the Lord that had been planted in Dale's life began to grow deeper roots.

He is once again moving in a teaching ministry through this website. He recently served a Nazarene church in Southwest Missouri as a Sunday School teacher. He is now serving as pulpit supply for a small church in central Pennsylvania.

Because the emphasis of his ministry is on how we should live as Christians, his teaching is accepted across denominational lines. Dale has ministered in denominational churches including Baptist, Assembly of God, Church of God, African Methodist Episcopal, Catholic, Episcopalian, Charismatic, Nazarene, and many independent works.

Dale now resides with his wife, Gracie in a small town in north central Pennsylvania.

A brother said to me many years ago, "Dale, I don't care about whether I am supposed to celebrate Christmas or not. I need to know how to deal with my anger and how to get along with people."

The Bible addresses that type of topic more so than the other. It is a book of God's wisdom that gives us insight, ideas and practical tips on how to live in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation. (Phil. 2:15)

Discussing things such as free will or predestination, rapture or rupture,
pre-mill/post-mill/a-mill/pan-mill, immersion or sprinkling, transubtantiation/consubtantiation, or many other such topics may be fun for the theologian and some of the deep thinkers among us.

But how do these things affect our life?

What does the believer truly need?

Jesus said, "If you abide in My word [hold fast to My teachings and live in accordance with them], you are truly My disciples. And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free." (John 8:31-32 Amplified)

We need to know the teachings that we are to live in and practice.

That is the purpose of Practical Bible Teaching.
